The Two Beasts of Revelations – Updated Interpretation

Just recently I rethought a point over the deadly wound in Rev. 13

The explanation for what the heads are we find in Rev. 17: 9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

Head = empire. The roman empire past, the sixth head, is gone. The beast ceased to exist = deadly wound, due to the inexistence of a "head". The seventh head = today’s united Europe, re-establishes life to the beast = his deadly wound was healed, the wound of the beast, not the head.

The deadly wound is of the sixth head and the beast itself, as it only lives through a head. Rev. 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

I too, interpreted, erroneously, still until not long ago, as most others still do today, that the second "his" refers to the seventh head. It does not. That second "his" refers to the beast as it gains a new head, the seventh head, with a long interruption after the sixth head had been wounded to death.

What became healed is the beast and not its head. Head is an empire, its king; beast is the malicious/satanic/dragons system that backs the head/king.

The seventh head of the beast, the president of united Europe, will subjugate the presidents of three of the 10 European regions, and after that will take over world government through the (presidents) 10 economic blocks. In taking government over the 10 economic blocks besides Europe he is also the eighth and anti-christ = the representative of the malicious/satanic/dragons system that backs the head/king . Rev. 17:11 And the beast (system personified = the Dragon that gave him his power and ...) that was, and is not, even he is the eighth (is one of the heads and the beast itself, simultanously), and is of the seven (as ruler of Europe only a head of the beast), and goeth into perdition.

The six former heads were only emperors of the system; the last will be a head of the beast and the beast simultaneously.

It looks like the puzzle is coming together.

Most interpreters think that the healed deadly wound in rev. 13 refers to the person of the antichrist but each head represents an empire not its commander in chief. So it is very possible that by the now undergoing referendum of the constitution of Europe, key members might vote “no” and so it might seem, for a while that the complete European dream is over and dead.

But, somehow a new approach, idea or movement revives the complete European concept and it comes astonishingly back to full power.

A further comment over the second beast – May 10^th 2005

The pope is dead and a new one will be elected soon. Actually, like exposed bellow, the pope holds two kingdom titles: Pontifex Maximus and Vicarius Filii Dei – Highest Bridges Builder Between Man and Divinities and the Representative of the son of God (on Earth) – head of the pagan religion of the tower of Babylon and head of the apostate Christian faith, respectively. That could well be, too, the meaning of the two horns in Rev. 13. because it unites the two horns under one person.

Any catholic male, whether lay or ordained can, according to pope election rules, be elected pope. Look, probably, for somebody outside the college of cardinals for the next pope.

 I maintained, for the last couple of months, the false suspicion that the Catholic Church and Islam, under the Jesuit order, could be the beast with the two horns, in Rev. 13. Because it is traditionally teached and preached that the beast with the horns is a religious system.

I abandoned this hypothesis due to new insight in current world affairs.

 Analyze the context in this frame:

1- The Pope hands over the “Pontifex Maximus” title, that he received from the last roman emperor, to the now Europe President. The title “Pontifex Maximus” (“Pontifex Maximus” means “Supreme Bridge Builder” – to deities) originates from the high priest of Babel, at the time they start building the tower, and this title was passed on, uninterrupted, to one of the descendents of the titleholders. The time the apostle John received Revelations the “Pontifex Maximus” was in Pergamos. Rev. 2:13 “…Satan’s seat…”. The last in this row was Atalos III. He had no sons and tradition established that in such case the title would go to the king that ruled that region at that time, so it went to the Cesar of the Roman Empire. After the fall of the Roman Empire the title “Pontifex Maximus” went to the Pope.

2- The beast with the two horns could well be USA and Great Britain, (look at the end of 1^st chapter in http://davidicke.www.50megs.com/icke/magazine/vol5/bush/bush4.htm), for the following: 

The first Beast, Rev. 13:1-10, has: 7 heads

The 6^th head was the Roman Empire at the apostle John’s time.

The 7^th head is yet to come – it has a deadly wound. Certainly the whole earth would wonder if a “Pontifex Maximus” takes office as the president of Europe, like it was in the Roman Empire until 476 AD. Rev. 13:3

The 10 horns are the presidents of the, now establishing, ten economic blocks, which will rule together with the “Pontifex Maximus”.

Europe is one of the horns of the beast with the two horns and, at the same time, part of the beast with the 7 heads, that would do for “And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eight, and is of the seven…”Rev 17:11

The beast with the two horns “…exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, …” Rev 13:12. The first beast was a world government, that’s what the second will be. Europe and the US together can, if they not do already, govern world affairs.

I have the impression that the “…before him…” in Rev. 13:12 means “in the sight of him” at not in a temporal sense.

When the second beast takes over world control, the first beast is not the world ruler, but the second beast serves the first beast.

The second beast, US and Freat Britain, are military high tech most capable on earth and can “…make(th) fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,” Rev 13:13 Nuclear bombs and military satellite Laser beams (Check this news only 2 days after this article: http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/07/19/air.force.missile/index.html )?

The second beast, US and Great Britain, has the technological capability to introduce a virtual market by chip implants and GPS. The throne of the beast of the two horns is likely New York. Rev 18:11

It’s foreseeable that they will use religion to gain control, perhaps making a symbol of the revived roman emperor, the “Pontifex Maximus”, the president of Europe. 

Phoenix is a bird from mythology that rose from death, a symbol that very well could be applied to the reintroduced office of the secular (Babylon mystery) “Pontifex Maximus”. 

Since three decades run rumors that world currency has been printed and is waiting to be introduced to the market. It is told that this new currency is called “Phoenix”. 

Most certainly the throne of the ruler of the second beast will not be Rome.

Only the Pope will stay in Rome after separating the “Vicar of Christ” (the wore) from the “Pontifex Maximus”. It is said that the 7^th ruler will hate the Wore and make her desolate and naked. Perhaps desolating with an atomic bomb? Rev 17:16.

Look, even the statement of the 10 kings that rule with the beast will hate the wore, is easily solved by this view.

Test and see that the above scenery satisfies, without forcing, all other scripture prophesy regarding the end time empires.
